Dr. William W. Rucks, Jr. was a close friend of John E. and Eleanor Blake Kirkpatrick for decades.

John E. Kirkpatrick served as the Commanding Officer for the Anti-aircraft Training Center at Waianae on the island of Oahu. He later became the Officer in Charge of the Fleet Machine Gun School. In 1950, he would visit his old base with his wife Eleanor Blake Kirkpatrick, her daughter Joan and her mother Kathryn Talbott Blake

Blake was the President of in 1910 when the family moved to OKC” Joel Harris “Harry” Baker was the son of John D. and Alice Upshaw Blake Baker.

Dr. E. E. Kirkpatrick and his wife, Claudia, had this home built in 1925 at 501 West 13th Street, Oklahoma City. The family sold the house after Dr. Kirkpatrick died in 1936.
