It was probably taken about halfway up the Peak at a popular outlook into ‘Bottomless Pit.’ In the lower right of this picture you can see Crystal Reservoir which feeds down into Crystal Creek and runs just below Kirkpatrick Cabin” [in Green Mountain Falls].

William Terry Kirkpatrick is sitting sideways on a chair with his mother Edith Luise “Edie Wee” Koelsch Kirkpatrick sits on the grass behind the chair, and her father, William F. H. Koelsch behind them. This was possibly taken at the Koelsch home in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Eleanor Blake standing next to her second cousin Evelyn Parks. Her father, Will Parks, was a first cousin to Eleanor’s mother, Kathryn “Kitty” Talbott Blake. Dr. William Parks the superintendent of the Hot Springs Reservation in Arkansas.

Eleanor Blake was born in March 1909. This picture is undated.
